Afghanastan, Iraqistan, Iranastan... Americanistan

So what is one to do?

Bill O'Reilly of Faux News fame makes many obscene and inflammatory statements on his daily Radio Factor and nightly O'Reilly Factor broadcasts. Taken out of context, one could reasonably read into his statements some truth. For example: Bill O'Reilly said "People don't understand the danger this country poses to the world." Of course, Bill was not refering to the United States Global Military Machine, but rather, to Iran.

Ask yourself, who's more dangerous: A state with virtually unlimited means to inflict violence, conventional weapons of mass killing (machine guns, tanks, mortar, missiles, bombs of all shapes and sizes), as well as so called ‘weapons of mass destruction’ (nuclear, chemical, and biological) and have a long history of using any and all of these whenever and wherever they see fit to extend and /or protect "their interests" or those who, one day, could conceivably develop the ability to protect themselves and fight back?

It's like the biggest bully in a school deciding to shoot all the kids in his class seeking training in Karate or Aikido. People, like states, get sick of bullies violently beating them, imposing their will upon them, and using the threat of brutal violence against them, their friends, and their families.

Speaking out about what you see happening and arming yourself against the threat of violent aggressors is not threatening in itself, only to those who wish to protect themselves from being denied the ability to violently abuse anyone and everyone they deem a threat, whenever they decide that threat exists. The first 'rule of engagement' seems to be: Atack only perceived enemies without the ability to fight back before they are capable of fighting back. This seems like a good strategy for the schoolyard bully or abusive parent, certainly not for The United States of America.

Think about it. Tell people what you see and what you think. Don’t be afraid. Arm yourself with better understanding, greater empathy and compassion for people before you arm a violent military regime to protect you form their enemies in the name of your freedom.

Otherwise, as a nation, we must consider ourselves Violent Extremists; Amerikanistanians!
